Hello lovelies, let’s talk about How to avoid late night snacking shall we?
Late night snacking can be hard to combat and often times leads to weight gain or prevents weight loss. So here are a few short tips to help you stop late night eating.
Go to bed: Yes, if you cannot seem to stop munching and you are just spending time playing, head over to bed. Plus It will help you get more rest anyway. So if you find yourself endlessly munching on things, go straight to bed to avoid it.
Save some calories for the evening: If you are constantly hungry in the evenings, then you might need to move some calories to night time. it could be as simple as an extra 100 calories, an extra spoon of something etc. This way it is planned for already.
Try healthier alternatives: If you must have something in the night, try something healthier. For instance, Halotop ice cream is very low calorie and tastes creamy and great. This is a great option especially for late time snacking. Yes, you can have the real deal but once in a while or when you are trying to save you macros or watch your consumptions, it’s great to have these options. Sometimes, you cannot go to bed due to many things to get done.
Drink water or tea: I love drinking Green tea at night, somehow it helps curb my appetite and keep me full hence I am less likely to look for junk to eat. I usually do this when I find my mind wandering the fridge. Plus green tea has several benefits anyway and so does water.
Brush your teeth: I find that when I brush my teeth, I am less likely to snack. There is just something about the freshness
Paint your nails: Of course, you can’t do this every day but when you have your nails nicely done, you do not want to mess it up searching through cabinets for something to eat
