Thats right, say it out loud!!! I COMMIT to achieving my fitness goal. Whatever that is, weight loss, weight gain, weight maintenance, toning up.
I am currently reading this book called Secrets to the millionaire’s mind by T Harv Eker and its such an amazing read about wealth and goals in life.
I will tie it to your fitness goal. There is a huge difference between “I want to be fit” “I choose to be fit” and “I commit to be fit”
I want to be fit
Many people want to be fit, if you ask anyone on the streets if they want to be fit or not, of course they will say they want to be fit. But honestly, most people that want to be fit do not want to put the work into it, they want to be fit and hope fitness lands in their laps somehow. In Eker’s words, wanting does not necessarily lead to Having.
I choose to be fit
Choosing to be fit is stronger than wanting to be fit. Here you sort of take responsibility for your progress but still not committed to it.
I commit to be fit
This is the strongest form. Committed means you wont stop till you achieve it. It means you do not chase after magic pills or fast diet claims. You hold nothing back and you give your body 100% dedication. You are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your fitness goals. You have no excuses, ifs, buts or hindrances that you allow to stand in your way.
You should commit to achieving your fitness goals. Your body is the only one you have so why not love it and care for it? Its not going to be easy, lol far from easy. You will give up a lot, you will have to dedicate lots of time to it, may even make some enemies along the way. But hey, if everyone loves you then you must be doing something wrong. Even Jesus was hated by many.
Again in this journey Christ is your king and he is your ever present help. Commit your goals to him first because without him you can do nothing! Trust in his ways and he will have your back.
