I decided to write about why i love to workout. There are several reasons to love working out and yes most of them are why i workout plus few more. its hard to believe that someone loves to workout but believe me it is very possible.
I never really liked working out before and i must admit some days i dont want to workout or i wish my physical body will go workout and leave me in the room (if only that was possible lol). But most days i love working out and look forward to it.
Working out keeps me fit. I feel stronger and more confident just knowing i am fit and healthy. It keeps me happy. I love the endorphin feeling i get when i workout. I don’t always have this but when i do, i am on a natural high! I also love when my pre-workout meal kicks in, i cant seem to sit still and sometimes i fear i may crack a muscle or drop the weight on myself because i have decided to lift more than i usually do.
Another reason is because I love being able to workout in the guy zone and not run away or get intimidated by the weights. I used to only workout on the cardio machines and do group fitness, however all that has changed now and i find myself most times in the weight training section because i prefer running outside as my form of cardio.
I also love checking out myself as i workout, i like working out in front of the mirror when i can to make sure i have the proper form. Form is everything, remember Quality over quantity so when i feel i am dogging it or using bad form due to fatigue, i drop the weights and rest
I love blogging about it, i think this is one of the reasons i really love it because i have found my passion in fitness blogging thus sharing my motivations and experiences with everyone keeps me going.
Sorry guys, but I love making noise about how i love to workout to all who care to hear lol
It keeps me healthy physically. Heart disease, by the way, is still the number one killer in America. Weight lifting gives me stronger bones and decreases my risk of osteoporosis in addition to building lean muscle
It gives me energy and It helps me perform better at work. I feel fatigued when i have not worked out in days, and most people close to me can tell because i could get cranky or just stressed out
Cant forget to mention Happier periods! Guys close your eyes lol, but yes i do have very little cramps and hardly need medications compared to many people. I attribute this to God and also to the fact that i workout a lot and eat healthy
It also helps me sleep better at night.
If you hate workout i would suggest searching for a form of workout that interests you, the gym is not really for everyone honestly. If you prefer to dance, join a dance class, get zumba dads. I featured a fitness person last week http://christsoldiergirlfitness.com/2013/10/30/csg-fitness-interview-with-kosi/ who says she loves to dance and is part of a dance club Socaerobics so make it work for you, find your passion and use it to your fitness benefit!
