6 Week Training is a great app for keeping users to exercise regularly. The name suggests that you need to get in shape or improve your fitness within a six-week period, and that’s precisely what it aims to help you achieve.
With daily goals and exercises ranging from 200 sit-ups to 100 push-ups, you can choose which suit you depending on your goals and current abilities. When using the app for the first time, you can take a quick fitness test to see what your existing performance rate is. After the test is over, the app will examine your results, present you with them and give you a personal daily workout plan to guide you. It’s like having a personal trainer in your pocket!

FLOW Competitive Sports
The FLOW Competitive Sports app goes a little more in-depth than the 6 Week Training option. Perhaps this is why it’s a paid app. With FLOW, you initially have to take eight tests to discover your current abilities. You can then enter in personal goals and what you wish to achieve into the app. Once results are in, you’ll get a personal workout program to follow that will take you to your goals and beyond.
FLOW Competitive Sports also provides full HD videos on how to perform exercises if you’re confused or don’t have any pre-existing knowledge of a workout. With daily alerts and reminders, you’ll find that you automatically sync yourself to the times of day you need to exercise, making your workout schedule habitual.
You can download FLOW Competitive Sports on iOS and Android devices; however, it costs between $11.99 and $19.99 depending on which version you choose. This app does require some personal information due to its depth in testing users, so I personally use a secure connection whenever using the app in public spaces for peace of mind.
The Workout Trainer app contains a vast amount of different routines to select from. Depending on your goals, abilities, and desires for health and fitness, you can find and filter through the routines that Workout Trainer has available and pick the one that suits you best.
If you want to improve you running skills, you can select cardio and tracking routines. Likewise, if you want to tone up and get flexible, you can scan through yoga routines. Workout Trainer sends alerts and reminders that help the user become accustomed to daily practice at specific times.
Workout Trainer is free for both iOS and Android devices. It does, however, have a premium version available that features more HD videos and routines as well as removes advertisements from the program.
After reviewing each of the above apps, I note that the reminders are what really keep you on task every day. The fact that these apps give you workout plans and routines are great. Their ability to work out a schedule that will help you achieve your fitness goals is incredible and indispensable.
